Getting to know Novelle Court

Welcome! I am a licensed psychotherapist who utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, empowerment and a strengths-based approach to help each client. I am board certified in creative arts therapy as well. I work with clients by offering psychotherapy integrated with many evidence-based practices. Unfortunately, past traumas and adverse events can create negative self-beliefs that are maladaptive and can impact each of us presently, but through a non-judgmental and compassionate lens, together, we can explore your feelings, thoughts, relationships, and set goals. Treatment can address, in which I specialize: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, PTSD and other stress-related issues.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have an extensive history of working with individuals of all ages for the past 15 years within residential facilities, group homes, outpatient rehabs, hospitals and currently private practice, helping them address any and all mental health challenges. I have also completed the 350 educational required hours for the Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor Oasis requirement.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Although being board-certified in the creative arts as well, no one is ever expected to do art or to create during counseling sessions, but the invitation is always there. I am person centered helping you achieve your goals providing traditional talk therapy methodologies. I am passionate about helping clients establish meaningful and emotionally healthy lives with a focus on individual growth and the discovery of hidden strengths. I look forward to working with you in becoming the improved version of you!
