Paige Berg, LPC

Psychotherapist
WI
I am here to accompany you on your journey. I studied Transpersonal Art Therapy at Naropa University and have been practicing as a counselor in the Boulder and Weld County area since 2019. My approach to counseling values social justice, cultural humility, and play. The American Art Therapy Association says, 'Art therapy uses active art-making, the creative process, and applied psychological theory—within a psychotherapeutic relationship—to enrich the lives of individuals, families, and communities.' Some sessions may include creative exploration, others may not. While we may not share the same physical space, we can still embark on creative exploration, whether you have access to art materials or not. In a national culture that glamorizes the hustle, it is easy to get overwhelmed or feel like you can't get your head above water. I see therapy as a radical act of self-care. Topics I lean into with clients can include grief, fear, anxiety, guilt, shame, self-worth, sex, safety, mindfulness, confidence, relationships, culture, spirituality, men's issues, and more. Come as you are; no depth is too deep, no weight is too heavy. My clients who know me know some of my favorite philosophies: slow is smooth, smooth is fast, it is as it is, be gentle with yourself, and you can't pour from an empty cup.
