Getting to know Patricia Sibiga

As a therapist, my goal is to provide my clients with a comfortable, nonjudgemental space to explore feelings, thoughts, and experiences safely. Gaining a better understanding of the self, the past, and the current struggles to learn new ways of being more adaptive and resilient to assist in daily functioning.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic approach involves psychodynamic practices to explore childhood and past experiences to connect them to any current behaviors or patterns, somatic work and mindfulness to assist in processing emotions, feelings and experiences, and evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to assist in building coping strategies moving forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

*I offer Free 15 Min Consultation Calls to all New Clients. By booking on Zocdoc, you would be booking the Free 15 Min Consultation Call.* Clients may either bring in a current problem they are facing or a past experience that continues to rear its head to process in sessions. Throughout our time together, the connections between past and present come to light, highlighting the deep wounds we carry, and work together to design a lifestyle of emotional regulation and coping skills more suitable to your goals. I utilize psychoeducation as well to ensure my clients are in the loop about the therapeutic process.

Very understanding, takes the time to actually listen before responding. Would definitely recommend.

The provider was listed as in network. When my appointment didn't start at my appointment time I called the office phone number and someone called me back saying they were out of network. This was after the appointment was accepted almost one whole month prior. No one ever reached out to me prior to my appointment. I would not recommend this provider.

I really enjoyed my first session with Patty.

Patti is a wonderful therapist and was such a help and comfort to me during a challenging period in my life. I was undertaking a large project that really overwhelmed me in its scope and wasn’t being kind to myself that it was taking much longer than I’d expected. Her care and nonjudgmental attitude made it easier to share my thoughts and emotions which is something I’ve been uncomfortable in doing with past therapists and allowed me to open up. I saw real growth from our time together which I’ve continued to expand upon after I moved away and had to leave her care. Can’t recommend her services highly enough- I’m so grateful for her help!
Patty helped me overcome a lot of my struggles, but specifically anxiety. I was in a tough place when we started sessions, and she make everything soo easy and caring.
Working with Patty has been nothing short of life-changing. Her attentiveness, thoughtfulness, and ability to truly listen created a space where I felt seen and supported from day one. She guided me with compassion and clarity, helping me take ownership of the things within my control while also learning to release the need to overthink what I couldn’t. The tools she provided were practical, effective, and always tailored to my needs—she was quick to pivot when something wasn’t resonating, which made me feel truly cared for and understood. I am amazed at how much of myself has been uncovered and brought back to life through this work. Her impact is profound, and I have no doubt she will continue to transform the lives of many others. I am forever grateful.
Patty has been very helpful and understanding . Patty was my first therapist and working with her has change my thoughts on therapy. Therapy doesn’t have to be lifetime but if it makes you feel better after having a session it probably was a pretty good session. Patty has challenge me to be more of an effective communicator and navigate through issues.
