“I saw Mr. Hargrove to work through some relationship challenges. After being with my partner for 17 years, I was feeling overwhelmed and emotionally stuck due to the impact of their mental health struggles, which in turn began to affect my well-being. Mr. Hargrove was incredibly kind, nonjudgmental, and remarkably insightful. He helped me feel at ease from the start and offered the clarity I needed to explore my feelings and priorities. With his support, I was able to make choices that felt more in line with my own happiness and emotional well-being. I'm very grateful for the care and understanding he offered during a difficult time. ”

Getting to know Paul Hargrow

For more than 20 years, it has been my profession, purpose, and passion to help people improve their lives through therapy. I believe that therapy is the key to managing and maintaining spiritual and mental health; it is a powerful and empowering way to support personal growth and well-being. People of all ages and socioeconomic levels struggle with a variety of issues. Whether we are concerned about our relationships, problems with school or in our careers, life transitions, or past trauma, it can be difficult to feel at ease discussing our troubles. I provide a welcoming, non-judgmental environment to help you identify what you're feeling and navigate a path forward that is tailored to your specific issues. Because I believe psychotherapy is a collaboration, I will be actively engaged, encouraging, guiding, and advising you when you may need help to understand the role your emotions, beliefs, and behaviors play in your struggles. As a committed and caring professional with a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University, I guide clients on a path of self-discovery, helping them develop new insights and tools to nurture and enhance the healthy relationships and emotional wellness needed for a well-rounded and fulfilling life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with clients using Cogitative Behavioral Therapy (CBT) also known as talk therapy. We work together in a structured way, attending a limited number of sessions. CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way

Mr. Hargrow was exceptionally friendly and attentive. He understood what I had to say and provided me with insightful feedback.
I thought my visit was perfect. I had my reservations about therapy but Paul knocked them all away. If you want someone who is professional, empathetic and easy to talk to, he is that therapist.
