I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist in private practice for the past 25 years specializing in work with couples, and individuals that struggle with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring disorders. I believe each client has individual needs, and therefore it's important that i modify the modalities of treatment to best suit them. i offer a safe and compassionate space to explore and process challenges, schemas and emotions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our sessions you should expect a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment where you feel heard, valued and supported. My style is client centered and believe therapy works best when we work together to set meaningful goals that align with your objectives, and then we have measurable outcome that allow you to see lasting change and inner peace. Each session is tailored to your unique goals whether that means managing stress, healing from loss, learning new strategies, or healing from past experiences. My goal is to have you leave each session feeling more hopeful, empowered, and equipped to navigate life's challenges.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The primary goal of the intake is to evaluate and determine the best course of treatment. We will use this as an opportunity to learn about your history, as well as delve into the issues that brought you in. From there the next sessions will be used to develop clear goals and objectives that will be tailored to overcome them.
