Hi there, I'm Pricila! My name is Pricila Rubio, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in South Texas. I earned my Master's in Social Work from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I specialize in depression, anxiety, and grief therapy, but I am here to help anyone who needs and wants support. My approach I usually use cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to work together with you in developing new skills that help you feel better as you move toward the changes that are right for your life. My focus I have worked with individuals ages 17 to 92 and am comfortable treating anxiety, depression, grief, and low self-esteem. My communication style I create a judgment-free environment where you can feel safe to talk openly about your needs and personal issues. My journey to mental healthcare A mentor once asked me what I would do for free. My answer was helping people! I love talking to people, truly listening to them, and supporting them as they work through their emotions. I'll also ask questions to better understand your feelings, current situation, and any background factors affecting you.
