Getting to know Rachel Mernagh

Life can feel like a lot. One moment you’re managing, and the next you’re completely overwhelmed—by your emotions, your relationships, your responsibilities, or all of it at once. If your emotions feel intense, your boundaries feel shaky, or stress keeps taking over, you’re not alone. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples who want to feel more connected and less overwhelmed by their emotions or patterns. Whether you’re a teen making sense of intense feelings, an adult stretched too thin, or a couple wanting to communicate with more understanding, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. Many of my clients feel stuck in cycles of big emotions, overthinking, people-pleasing, and burnout. In therapy, we slow things down and make sense of what’s happening. Using evidence-based approaches, I help clients build emotional regulation skills, strengthen boundaries, and respond to stress and relationships in more steady, intentional ways.
