Getting to know Rachel Wheatley

"Hi! My name is Rachel and I’m a Masters level therapist, certified in treating mental health and addiction. I’ve been in practice for close to 20 years. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma or needing support with an ESA, I can help you navigate through your mental health journey. Together, we can explore what aspects of your past or current coping skills are not best serving you transform them into techniques that will support you in a more meaningful way. I generally focus on treating clients who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or addiction. I hold a Master's degree and am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor as well as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counseling. I also have additional training in using EMDR to treat trauma, CBIT to treat Tic/Tourettes Disorders and various modalities for substance use disorders. Additionally, I am trained in writing for Emotional Assistance Animals (ESA’s). My approach to mental health therapy is holistic, and I strongly advocate for others to prioritize their mental health and wellbeing.
