“I have been seeing Rachel for five years now and with her help I have developed a variety of cognitive tools that allows me to be my own ally, rather than my own worst enemy. These cognitive tools have drastically improved my life at work, at home and with friends. Rachel makes you feel safe, heard and understood during your sessions and is collaborative in helping you solve problems. This collaborative nature also makes it clear that Rachel's approach is not a one size fits all. She really focuses on getting to know you as an individual, rather than putting you into a preconceived box. Rachel creates a space that allows you to really dive deep into exploring your experiences and feelings (or stay closer to the surface, if that's what you need). In this safe space, Rachel has taught me how to be kind to myself, while also holding myself accountable. I look forward to my sessions with Rachel every week.”

I have a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University, and have over a decade of experience.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide an invoice for my out-of-network clients, which they can submit to their insurance for reimbursement. I take an interactive stance and integrate various therapeutic techniques by tailoring my approach to best fit the needs of each individual client. I incorporate psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapeutic techniques in my practice. I am CBT certified through New York University.

Rachel has been such a breath of fresh air. I have worked with many therapists in the past, and I never felt heard or safe like I do with Rachel. She is honest and has helped me view situations from different perspectives. She always helps me structure our sessions in a way where I do not feel like I am wasiting my time. Sometimes I like to talk a lot in our sessions, and Rachel provides me with the space to do so, but at the same time, she interjects, and provides helpful feedback. She is able to redirect me when I get off track too. I feel extremely comfortable talking to Rachel, and she has played a huge role in my personal growth and healing process.
I have been seeing Rachel for the past 6 months, and the experience has been transformative. She has an incredible ability to listen and understand my concerns deeply. I always feel heard and validated, which has made a huge difference in my mental health journey. The connection we’ve built is truly special, and I look forward to our sessions each week.

I have been seeing Rachel for years now and words cannot express the impact she has had on my life. She helped me develop insight into my thoughts and behaviors and has helped me navigate my life during really difficult times. I really do not know where I would be without her. Rachel is so kind, but is also extremely honest, which I have always appreciated because at times I need to be challenged. She is trustworthy and really cares about her clients. I have seen other therapists that have remained silent and just validated me, but Rachel is engaged and responds in a way that is helpful and affirmative. Seeing Rachel has been a game changer for me and I am so happy she is my therapist!
