Hi, my name is Rashid Jalloh. I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist with 13 years of experience, licensed in both the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Howard University. Welcome to my practice. You can expect a therapist who values collaboration in developing solutions that help you effectively manage life's challenges. In my practice, you will find a warm, nonjudgmental approach that takes time to make you comfortable, understanding that it may not always be easy to open up to a stranger. While I cannot promise that life's stresses and challenges will disappear, we can work together to create effective tools to help you cope and prevent these challenges from negatively affecting your daily functioning. As an immigrant, I am especially glad to work with immigrant families navigating the challenges of transitioning to a different culture. I have extensive experience working with families, individuals, and young adults. If at any point I find that I am not the right fit for your healing process, we will agree on connecting you with someone more suitable. Once again, welcome to my practice.
