Getting to know Raven Glaspie

*MORNING SESSIONS ARE AVAILABLE (7 AM) M, W, F BY REQUEST ONLY. Please email me for accommodations.* INTAKE SESSIONS (creating treatment plans, setting goals, etc.) are 30 minutes. Follow-up individual sessions are 53–60 minutes. Hello there! My name is Raven, and I am the founder of Motive Wellness, LLC. I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), licensed clinical addiction counselor (LCAC), certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP), and certified alcohol and drug abuse consultant (CADAC II). I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University, Bloomington. I have 8 years of experience in mental health, including 3 years in the counselor role. I've worked in psychiatric settings, corrections, and rehabilitation centers (kudos to those in recovery!). For starters, congratulations to you and your willingness to give therapy a try. Whether it's with me or another wonderful therapist, blessings to you as you start (or continue) your mental health journey. People have different “motives” that bring them to therapy. Maybe you're the person who carries the world on your shoulders. You could be someone who struggles with finding their voice. Maybe you feel like you'll never be enough or feel like you have to prove yourself to someone. There could be underlying motives that you may gain clarity on once you start therapy. Whatever it may be, you got this. A brand new you is loading…

What should a new client know about working with you?

100% support with a sprinkle of humor! When you decide to book with me you can expect to have someone in your corner. Whether you are going through a breakup, excited about a promotion, or you’re just feeling “blah”, you can expect me to empathize, validate your feelings and make you feel heard. I’m not here to criticize or suggest anything, I’m here to support you into the direction YOU want to go.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
