Hey there, Overthinker! Does your brain seem to run nonstop and never turn off? Are you exhausted with the thousands of worst-case scenarios that your mind creates? Do your thoughts make you feel like you are literally going crazy and make you want to curl up in the fetal position? Trust me when I say you’re not the only one that feels stuck dealing with these unhelpful thought loops. Believe it or not, it doesn’t have to stay that way! Pretend your thoughts are like a hammer. Hammers can be used to make things or break things, right? Which way have you been using your thoughts? Most of us are stuck on an automatic cycle of breaking your thoughts without ever realizing there are other thoughts available to us (making your thoughts). With time and effort, we can learn how to interfere with the automatic negative thought loops, build new pathways with conscious intention, and learn how to encourage our thoughts to follow the new pathways. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with spirituality. In sessions, we learn how to rewrite our unhelpful thoughts/stories and learn to recognize the energy of our feelings. We learn to identify the thoughts that create lower-vibe emotions that keep us stuck (shame/guilt) and learn to think new thoughts. I’m excited to help you ditch your old thoughts and get unstuck!
