If you have experienced betrayal trauma, struggle to communicate effectively, or want to create a secure, healthy attachment with your partner, I can help. As a couple, you have the power to mitigate suffering over time and build a strong, loving relationship that can withstand life's challenges. Areas I support include: Marriage/relationships Betrayal trauma/sex addiction recovery and reintegration Insecure attachment styles Complex PTSD Historical and developmental trauma Parental enmeshment My approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), allowing us to explore healthy and unhealthy ways you and your partner interact while addressing generational trauma, emotional patterns, insecure attachment, and disconnection. You will learn to regulate and cope with negative feelings in healthier emotional ways. In addition to EFT, I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), providing research-based techniques for trauma and PTSD symptoms. I have experience working with partners dealing with betrayal trauma and sex addiction, assisting with formal disclosure preparation, boundary plans, communicating polygraph results, and facilitating betrayal trauma groups. I am a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT). I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University, equipping me to support individuals and couples through complex emotional challenges. My mission is to help couples navigate the intricate and often turbulent dynamics in relationships. My warm, empathetic approach, combined with my diverse cultural background and experience as a mother, enables me to connect deeply with individuals and couples. I understand the challenges families face today and am here to help. Regina Debilio is supervised by Erin Wysong-Warren, LPC-S

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a trauma-informed therapist who is EMDR-trained, a candidate for the Certified Partner Trauma Therapist specialty, and trained to work with parental enmeshment issues. I see clients struggling with betrayal trauma, enmeshment, and family of origin issues as well as a range of other struggles.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our intake session, we will discuss the intake paperwork and any questions that you have about the policies and procedures. Additionally, I will gather more information about you and the reason for your visit. This may or may not include background information about your family of origin and assessments. Collaboratively, we will develop a treatment plan for our work together and set goals for your healing and recovery. For betrayed partners, I follow the trauma-informed model that includes boundary work, preparing for formal disclosure, as well as trauma-informed care based on the most current and research-based clinical treatment recommendations.
