Fluent in Portuguese (Brazilian and European), Spanish, Italian, and English, Dr. Johnson creates a culturally and linguistically responsive environment that honors each client’s lived experience and belief system. She integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused modalities, motivational interviewing, and spiritually informed psychotherapy to address addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and identity-related challenges. What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our motto at TMG is "We'll meet you here!" Our goal at TMG is co-creating a strong therapeutic relationship, which we believe is foundational to the success of our client's treatment. Therefore, building a warm, supportive, and safe therapeutic environment requires designing treatment plans that are unique and specific to the individual client's needs. We engage in talk therapy in addition to utilizing an integrative approach of modalities with the client's specific treatment in mind.
