Getting to know Roxana Crosman
Hi, I'm Roxana, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Brainspotting Practitioner with a private practice in Boca Raton, FL. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University. My experience includes providing therapy to children, teens, and adults across various settings such as inpatient residential treatment, outpatient care, crisis intervention, school environments, and private practice.
My specialties include supporting individuals struggling to bounce back from divorce and toxic relationships, helping them navigate negative emotions related to transitions, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, I provide mental health services to adults and teens dealing with suicidal ideation, self-harm, destructive behaviors, addiction, and trauma.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you modify thoughts and change beliefs about yourself and others that affect your emotional growth. I also use Dialectical Behavior Therapy to teach skills that promote emotional regulation. Furthermore, I believe in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help you concentrate on solutions rather than problems, enabling you to identify your core strengths and achieve and maintain your goals. I incorporate a range of other eclectic techniques tailored specifically to each individual.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I truly believe the power is within you and everyone is capable of accomplishing amazing things, sometimes we just need a little help seeing it. Navigating these challenging situations aren't always easy, but with the right support you can look at these difficult moments as opportunities that exist within each of us to truly heal. That's why my approach is collaborative and non-judgmental, working together with you every step of the way. Together we will develop an individualized therapeutic plan to help you achieve emotional stability and manage challenges in your life that are keeping you stuck.
