Frankl Hello, my name is Sae. Let’s work on your problem together! I have worked with children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs because every individual faces different situations and challenges. I have treated individuals with depression, anxiety, phobias, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, LGBTQ+ identity issues, and addiction. My theoretical orientation is integrated, based on cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. I also speak Japanese. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Washington Adventist University, a Master’s in General Psychology from Catholic University of America, and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, Washington.

Dr. Sae really understands how neurodivergence, gender and traditional family roles work together to affect someone's current sleep and mood and vice versa. Her support, therapy homework and recommendations have been essential. They make me feel capable instead of weak and understood instead of unheard. Many therapists have recommended self-care week after week and I'd justify why I didn't have the time. That does not fly with Dr. Sae. Self-care is non-negotiable, as it should be. Now I finally have many self-care options on my to do list and I do some of them every week. I even have my husband convinced to add them to his list. I really can't recommend her enough.
