Sarah Cardenas, LGPC

Sarah Cardenas, LGPC

Psychotherapist
MD
I offer psychotherapy to manage anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, sexual difficulties, OCD, and more. We'll explore and implement skills to regulate mood, address stress in relationships, manage transitions, resolve shame, and process trauma. While working to identify solutions for current challenges, my clients also gain insight into the psychological impact of past and ongoing relationships, patterns, and experiences, and learn new skills. I work with adults to improve self-worth, address challenges around sex, immigrant experiences, and identity (privilege and discrimination). We'll work to understand the purpose your patterns, choices, and symptoms might serve, address underlying psychological challenges, develop the capacity to tolerate negative emotions, and create patterns for healthy relationships with yourself and others. I provide emotional safety and support by listening with acceptance.
