She has a Master's Degree in Community Counseling. She is passionate about empowering people to live their most inspired life. Hello, I'm Seija. I completed my master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado in 2004. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Brain Injury Specialist, Certified Hypnotherapist and Certified Diagnostic Thought Field Therapy practitioner, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our sessions. Additionally, I am a Certified Life Coach through the Casey Coaching system, trained as an EMDR practitioner, and use the Gottman Method couples therapy in my work. My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in human performance psychology, which I apply through a solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and existential paradigm. For those on a spiritual and high consciousness path, these mental health tools can be applied on this level. Whether you are dealing with mental health challenges, neurodiversity, interpersonal dynamics, or LGBTQ+ issues, I am here to support you on your journey. When we work together, you can expect a compassionate and personalized approach tailored to your unique needs. I specialize in a range of areas including dementia, anxiety, Autism Spectrum support, depression, grief and adjustment, life transitions and geriatric issues, medical dynamics, PTSD, intimate and romantic relationships, spirituality, stress, trauma, traumatic brain injury, near death experiences, and family relationships. Outside of the office, I find joy in hiking, experiencing the frequency and vibrations of sound, teaching Reiki in the Usui System of Natural Healing, and traveling. These activities help me remain clear that we have the opportunity to live the intentionally inspired life and flourish, which I strive to share with my clients. If you feel that we might be a good match, I invite you to reach out and begin your journey to express greater health and wholeness with me.
