A strong therapeutic relationship is essential to meaningful progress. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you achieve your personal goals. Our work together is centered on you—your experiences, your challenges, and what you want to change or improve. I take the time to understand how you think, feel, and navigate the world so we can create an approach that feels both effective and meaningful. Everyone has the capacity for growth and change. At times, it can feel difficult to access that, especially when dealing with stress, emotional challenges, or long-standing patterns. My goal is to help you build clarity, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. Through therapy, we work to strengthen your ability to manage challenges while building confidence in your ability to move forward. My approach is person-centered and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism and ADHD. My background in outpatient settings has allowed me to support clients with a wide range of needs and experiences. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring challenges, building skills, and working toward lasting, meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but it’s an important one toward gaining clarity, support, and real change. My approach is structured, collaborative, and focused on helping you make steady, meaningful progress. We begin with an intake session, where we talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you would like to work toward. This is followed by a psychosocial assessment, where we explore your background, experiences, and patterns to better understand the factors influencing your mental health. From there, we create a personalized treatment plan based on your goals. This may include managing anxiety or depression, improving daily functioning, strengthening relationships, or building more effective coping strategies. In ongoing sessions, we use evidence-based techniques such as CBT and CPT to help you better understand your thoughts, manage emotions, and develop practical tools you can apply in everyday life. My goal is to help you build confidence, improve emotional well-being, and develop the skills needed to navigate challenges with greater clarity and control.
