What should a new client know about working with you?

I want you to know that this is a judgment free space. Whatever you're carrying, whether it's anxiety, depression, stress, a difficult life transition, or relationship challenges, you don't have to have it all figured out before we talk about it. My style is warm and supportive, and I believe that a big part of healing happens through building real trust between us. I'll never rush you or push you toward answers that aren't yours. Instead, I want to work alongside you, at your pace, so you feel comfortable opening up. My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling a little lighter, a little more understood, and more equipped to handle whatever life brings your way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When you come in for your first session, my focus is on getting to know you, not just your symptoms, but who you are and what's brought you to this point. I want you to feel heard from the very first conversation. From there, we work together to figure out what's really going on and what you want out of therapy. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with person-centered and strengths-based approaches, but I always tailor the work to fit you rather than fitting you into a specific method. Sessions feel collaborative and easygoing, I want it to feel like a conversation with someone in your corner, not a clinical checklist. Over time, we'll build practical tools you can actually use, and I'll help you notice the strengths you already have. My goal is always to create a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely supported as we work toward the changes you're hoping for.
