Challenges and stress naturally occur as we journey through life. I hope to help you better understand those challenges and the way in which you use coping strategies to function at your best. Whether that be in your place of work, in your relationships with others or within yourself, I will provide a supportive space for you to look inward.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I'm a Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. My area of practice is working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, managing emotions and relationship issues. My approach is psychodynamic, collaborative and client centered. I work toward empowering individuals to overcome obstacles by setting goals in a collaborative, non-judgmental and empathetic space.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation prior to scheduling our first session.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We will work together and begin to make greater connections with past behaviors to help you respond more mindfully as you move forward toward greater self-fulfillment and happiness. You'll learn ways to decrease stress, increase self-care and self-compassion and create contentment and purpose in your life. It takes a great deal of courage to reach out for help and to start the personal journey towards healing. Together we will begin that process.

My appointment was made online through the app. I was prompted that it was scheduled. At the appointment time I was not called. At half hour past the scheduled appointment time I called and was met with a voice mail. I left a message and nobody called me back.

I highly recomend Sharon to anyone seeking a compassionate, knowledgable and effectve therapist. What sets her apart is her genuine care and commitment to my progress. Between asking questions and actively listening, I’m offered a different perspective that allows me to see clarity that would not have been possible without Sharon’s expertise. She goes above and beyond any therapist that I have known.
