As both a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, I offer therapy rooted in empathy, experience, and transformation. My personal journey through childhood trauma, anxiety, and depression deeply informs my work today. I understand how painful life experiences can shape our thoughts, and I’m passionate about helping clients challenge those patterns to embrace healthier perspectives.
I specialize in working with adult survivors of childhood abuse, individuals affected by domestic violence, and couples facing relational conflict. One of my most rewarding cases involved helping a couple on the brink of separation—through learning new communication styles and building on mutual strengths, they began to function as a team rather than opponents.
I provide a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. I believe the therapeutic process should be both healing and human—laughter and vulnerability are welcome here when appropriate. As an ordained minister and published author in religion and spirituality, I’m also able to integrate faith into therapy for clients who find strength in their spiritual walk.
In 2020, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Military Resilience at Liberty University, which better equips me to serve veterans and military families. My goal is always to meet clients where they are and support them with humility, compassion, and practical tools for change.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy reading, writing, bowling, music, shopping, and spending time with family. I’m here to walk alongside you as you renew your mind, reclaim your story, and experience meaningful growth.
