What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a collaborative and client-centered experience. I strive to create a safe, relaxed environment where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. My approach is warm, supportive, and practical—I balance listening and validation with gentle challenges to help you grow. I often draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and strengths-based techniques. I meet you where you are and tailor our work to your unique needs, goals, and pace.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, we’ll focus on getting to know one another, understanding your concerns, and identifying your goals for therapy. From there, we’ll work together to create a plan that feels manageable and meaningful to you. A typical session includes open conversation (talk therapy), skill-building, and exploring patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I may introduce coping tools, reflection exercises, or strategies you can practice between sessions. Throughout the process, we’ll regularly check in on your progress and adjust our approach as needed to ensure you’re getting the most out of therapy.
