What should a new client know about working with you?

Our work together is collaborative. We’ll shape the structure and focus of each session based on what feels most helpful and relevant to you, so that the process truly fits your needs and goals. I see myself as a guide, someone who helps you go where you want to go. The work is guided by your pace, ensuring that the process feels comfortable and aligned with what makes sense for you. I have lots of tools and strategies that research and experience have shown to be effective, but you will decide whether these resonate with you. I strive to create a safe and affirming space, where you feel accepted and understood. We’ll take time to explore what’s going on in your life and begin identifying patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Rather than focusing only on a single challenge, we’ll look at the broader picture to better understand what may be keeping you stuck and where meaningful change can happen. I’ll encourage you to challenge yourself in ways that feel manageable and purposeful, while also holding a genuine belief in your ability to grow and overcome difficulties. Along the way, we’ll celebrate the steps you take to care for yourself, whether they feel small or significant.
