Many times during our lives, we are faced with struggles that are often personal and profound. These struggles manifest as mental and physical illness and disrupt every aspect of our lives, robbing us of our hopes and dreams. I help you understand 'why' you don't feel well, then give you the tools, techniques, and resources that provide you an optimal counseling experience. Pain and suffering are real. But so are Relief and Recovery! The sooner we understand and treat the hurt, the sooner we can move towards healing. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and have been in private practice since May 2009. Aside from my extensive education and experience in mental health, I have three undergraduate business degrees with almost 40 years in the business world. My years of education and life experience have afforded me the wisdom and knowledge to help you understand the mental distress you are experiencing. After a thorough intake of your history and data, we will collaborate to create the most effective treatment plan possible. My goal is to create an atmosphere that provides my clients comfort, care, Christian values, and compassion. I counsel most of my clients via teletherapy; therefore, I mainly provide mental health counseling to adults. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy are my main therapeutic approaches; however, your therapy will be tailored to align with your treatment plan.
