I work with children, teens, families, and young adult women, supporting clients who experience a variety of mental health and emotional difficulties including depression, anxiety, complex trauma, and relationship issues. My therapeutic approach is rooted in creating a warm and welcoming space where clients feel safe, heard, and respected while healing. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship and tailor my interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual. I utilize a range of evidence-based interventions such as EMDR, play therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These tools allow me to address and support a wide array of issues, including dementia, anger management, ADHD, children's and adolescent mental/behavioral health, multicultural/diversity issues, perinatal support, PTSD, sex/intimacy issues, stress, suicidal ideation, and trauma. With a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to my practice. My West African cultural heritage and fluency in French and English enable me to connect deeply with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including people of color, African immigrants, and refugees. I am committed to providing culturally sensitive care that respects and honors each client's unique experience. Working with me means embarking on a journey towards healing and growth. Together, we will explore your challenges and develop strategies to overcome them, fostering resilience and empowerment.
