Getting to know Stephanie Anne Skrobisz

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience supporting individuals to process trauma, build practical skills and strategies to manage their mental wellness, and reclaim their sense of self. I am currently seeing clients via telehealth outside the Panhandle of Florida, and in the process of expanding into other states. I specialize in working with women and lesbians, clients of any gender with a trauma history, and clients who identify as members of the LGBTQ community. I am passionate about feminism, social and racial justice, and I strive to provide culturally competent care to people from diverse identities and experiences. I provide a warm, non-judgmental, humanistic approach to the therapeutic relationship with my clients. Together we work towards your particular goals for feeling better and more functional in your Self and in your life, through practical skills and insight into what has contributed to your personal concens and mental health challenges. My work as a therapist is informed by my previous training and experience in energetic bodywork modalities such as Reiki, Polarity, Cranial Sacral Biodynamics that creates a focus on a Holistic integration of Body-Mind-Spirit as an avenue to support mental health from a holistic perspective.
