Stephanie is great- very professional. I highly recommend.
Stephanie is a wonderful, professional, level-headed psychologist / psychotherapist. Her office, including the waiting room, is the perfect balance of minimalist and comfortable. It doesn't try to be a country home, nor does it feel clinical (like a doctor's office would). Ms. Vanden Bos is not only a good listener, but she gives very reasonable, unbiased advice and practical feedback. She isn't just there to listen and be a sounding board, she asks thoughtful questions and gets to the heart of issues--and helps you determine next steps in solving or resolving them. My first meeting was a 10 out of 10, and I most highly recommend Stephanie Vanden Bos as someone to meet with and talk to about just about anything.
I have enjoyed many wonderful psychotherapy sessions with Ms. Stephanie Vanden Bos, Lcsw. Ms. Stephanie has held a loving, wise and responsible container for my process, for many years. I would recommend her as a therapist without reservation.
Stephanie has a warmth and softness in her style that is welcoming, and encouraging as a client. She is a great listener, she has thoughtful comments and perspectives, she lets you hear yourself in thoughtful comments and perspectives, she lets you hear yourself in new ways, and leads you to thoughtful approaches you didn't know you could d.
I would absolutely recommend Stephanie. I had very early sessions in the morning so there was virtually 0 wait time before we started. She was very attentive & insightful about issues that I talked about during my visits. This was the first time I visited a therapist, and she immidiaty put me at ease. It was more of a conversation that focused on my life as opposed to a doctor visit where important information was painfully extracted.
I’ve always considered myself to be a strong, together kind of person. Recently, when my elderly mother suffered an illness and some health setbacks, I sought out Stephanie’s help. Stephanie was kind, compassionate, empathetic and skilled. With her knowledge and gentle counsel she was able to help me navigate some waters and deal with what was going on with my mom. I wholeheartedly recommend Stephanie for anyone going through some difficult times and needs professional help to work through it!
