I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Capella University, dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and regain control of their lives. With extensive experience in treating trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, and women's mental health issues, I provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their struggles and develop effective coping strategies.
My approach to therapy is rooted in authenticity, empathy, and commitment to each client's well-being. I also support clients dealing with grief, abandonment issues, academic stress, and parenting challenges.
I incorporate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients challenge negative thought patterns, build self-compassion, and create lasting change. Additionally, I provide Bariatric Pre-Surgical Psychological Assessments for those navigating weight loss procedures and support for individuals overcoming emotional overeating and perfectionism.
My goal is to empower my clients to develop resilience, self-acceptance, and confidence in their personal journeys. I prioritize active listening, reflective communication, and an open, judgment-free space where healing can take place.
