My approach She takes a person-centered approach and tailors her therapy based on the unique set of needs of each client. Her goal as a therapist is to ensure that her clients have a safe space where they feel accepted, comfortable, and in control, without any judgment, to work through their healing process. My focus Her specialties include anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, life transitions, work/school issues, and women's issues. Aside from the traditional talk therapy, she will also use CBT approaches, and mindfulness approaches. We will work on learning healthy coping skills and coming up with a plan that empowers you to be your best self. My communication style The priority in sessions is for there to be open, honest communication between the client and the therapist. The sessions are meant to be a supportive, non-judgmental environment. No matter what we are working through, expect a calm and patient presence from me, as your therapist. My journey to mental healthcare She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hunter College in New York City. After four and a half years working as an ABA Therapist, she went back to school to obtain her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Kean University in New Jersey. She has always been fascinated by the different personalities and behaviors of humans. My goals for you She sees therapy as a collaborative effort. She works with her clients together to come up with the best treatment, geared towards obtaining each client's unique set of goals. Treatment is not linear, and goals are ever evolving, and they will work together to get to the result that the clients are looking for.
