Talisha Carter-Moody, LPC

Psychotherapist
901 Tulip Dr, Fort Valley, GA
Hello, I'm Talisha Carter-Moody, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Troy University. I have over 30 years of experience working with both community members and individuals involved in the justice system. My areas of expertise include depression, trauma, self-esteem, anxiety, grief, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, life transitions, and more. I would say I am an eclectic therapist. I specialize in adults and adolescents, utilizing solution-focused techniques, motivational interviewing skills, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, and trauma-informed counseling. I currently assist individuals with anxiety, depression, identity concerns, bipolar disorder, and extended grief, as well as those going through life changes such as adjustment to illness, school, divorce, and job loss. I believe in creating an environment in therapy where the therapeutic relationship can grow, allowing the individual to reach their greatest potential. My counseling atmosphere is warm, supportive, and collaborative so each individual can feel at ease as they work through life's challenges. The goal for most people is to find their "Happy." I want to help facilitate those individuals to that state of being.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
