There is nothing I enjoy more than seeing the transformation that can take place during the therapy process. It is inspiring to witness people’s ability to change their perspective about themselves and their individual problems. My goal is to provide a safe environment for people to learn and grow into the individuals they choose to be, and my role is to guide them in that process.
I specialize in working with persons who have experienced trauma and primarily use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy to heal past wounds. EMDR’s mission is to create global healing, health, and hope. EMDR therapy has been recognized in research studies as effective in many areas, yet it is particularly beneficial for those who have witnessed or experienced traumatic events. It is common for people who have experienced trauma to develop negative self-beliefs and operate from a negative viewpoint. These negative self-beliefs can lead to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and unhealthy relationships.
I believe the present can be positively impacted by healing the past, which is my primary focus. I would love the opportunity to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University.
