My name is Tania Fernandez, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Barry University and a Bachelor’s degree from Lehman College. I have worked with people from a broad range of backgrounds and concerns, including chronic illness, stress management, and coping with life changes and grief. I also have extensive experience working in hospitals and outpatient clinic settings in the area of chronic kidney disease. My counseling style is empathetic and client-centered. I believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect, but most importantly, I pride myself on demonstrating compassion and sensitivity to the needs of others. If you do not have insurance, I also take cash pay clients. The UpLift team will work directly with you to inform you of payments due. The prices for visits are dependent on your co-pay amount through your insurance. If you are a cash-pay client, our price ranges from $75 to $145 per visit
