What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with women who are used to holding it all together — often at the cost of their own peace. You don’t have to explain why you’re tired or why setting boundaries feels hard. I get it. My clients often show up feeling emotionally exhausted, but leave sessions feeling heard, respected, and hopeful. I’ll gently challenge you, offer perspective, and help you make room for joy, rest, and clarity. You don’t need to be perfect to begin. Just be willing to show up — I’ll meet you there.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions are about slowing down and getting clear on what’s weighing you down — no pressure to perform or fix everything right away. I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help you connect the dots between what you’ve been through and how it’s showing up now. From there, we’ll work together on building insight, setting boundaries, and learning new ways to respond to life’s challenges. I tailor each session to support your healing — mind, body, and soul.

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $180 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $155 for 55 minutes
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

More information on payments and coverage

We accept BCBSIL PPO and Aetna PPO insurance plans. If you’re using a different insurance provider, we’re happy to provide a receipt (superbill) that you can submit for possible reimbursement. All payments are due at the start of each session. We’ll verify your benefits before your first appointment and let you know your expected out-of-pocket costs — no surprises. While we don’t offer a sliding scale, we do offer free mental health resources and a supportive online community for those seeking healing outside of therapy.
