“Taylor is wonderful and I feel he is able to simultaneously connect with me and help me to shepherd me to the places I need to go without directly telling me what to do. He is intelligent and empathetic, and I believe him to be an excellent resource to anyone willing and able to listen.”

Getting to know Taylor Hayden
Does the thought of therapy feel boring and pointless to you? Do you need someone who can help explain what is going on in your brain, how it impacts you, and practical ways to deal with your challenges-whether anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, conflict, anger, addiction, or men's issues?
My name is Taylor, and I offer Neuroscience-Informed Therapy that helps you become the meaningful person you desire to be. I am an integrative therapist who uses approaches like ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), a newer wave of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), to help you build a new relationship with your brain, nervous system, and internal world. I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults/adults, and families.
I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. As a Christian and Clinical Therapist, I have a unique capacity to support people from Christian backgrounds as well as those who do not share that faith. Spirituality can be very beneficial in therapy, but not everyone wants it included. When we begin, we will determine what's right for you on your journey.
Let's meet and see if we are a good fit for therapy! If we are, we will set meaningful goals, work toward them, and when those goals are met, we will transition out of therapy. In general, people do not need therapy for their entire life. So let's figure out what you need and go after it.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I'm going to try and match you where you are at. That being said, if we can have fun we will. It sounds weird to think of therapy as enjoyable, but why spend your life doing things you hate? We will seek to find your joy and hold onto that through the difficult times as well as the good ones.
I like to be interactive and use metaphors as we talk about complex systems like your medial prefrontal cortex, or parasympathetic nervous system.
We may draw, write, create, or do other things to help you.
I also may suggest some of the new neuroscience tech for you to use to help you with your anxiety, ADHD, depression, panic attacks, or OCD.
In-network insurances
More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Taylor is so down to earth and totally not what I expected going into this. He's feels like a real friend I could talk about absolutely anything with. Therapy isn't all about what they are doing for us, it's a two way street and you have to be willing to do the work to be free from your past. It's all so worth it and I feel so lucky to have found Taylor to tackle life situations with. He isn't all about the trauma either, he leaves it all up to you on what you want to talk about and goes at your pace. God knew what he was doing when he brought Taylor out when I was searching for the perfect therapist. I feel so blessed and grateful.
