Getting to know Tracy Doro-Krueger

Scars remind us where we have been, they do not have to dictate where we are going.” My career goal has always been to assist people in moving from where they are now to where they want to be. I am a licensed counselor as well as a clinical substance abuse counselor. I have worked with many clients dealing with dual diagnosis concerns as well as infertility, adoption, life transitions, adoption, and behavioral issues. I have been practicing for over 10 years. My approach I have an eclectic and holistic approach to counseling. To me, that means that you take every aspect of a human being into consideration when you have the privilege of being asked to join them in their process I see my role as a therapist to “widen the lens” of the perspective my clients are currently using to view their difficulties. I believe the distress that causes one to seek therapy may be the result of conditioned responses of focusing on what has happened in the past or focusing on what could happen in the future, rather than the present moment. My focus I enjoy working with a variety of people, including anxiety, depression, infertility, and life transitions. My communication style I work hard to create, maintain, and provide a safe, judgment-free environment is my top priority.
