"Hello, I'm Trasie. With 30 years of experience in social work, I've had the privilege of helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most challenging moments. My journey has taken me through various roles, from working as a Military Family Life Consultant (MFLC) to providing services as a VA therapist and social worker. I'm also certified as a YWCA Domestic Violence counselor and have developed numerous treatment programs and group curricula for therapeutic agencies that qualified for federal reimbursements. My educational background includes an MSW, and I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington State, California, and Virginia. My approach to therapy is holistic and client-centered. I believe in meeting you where you are and using a variety of modalities to support your unique needs. These include Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and specialized treatments for PTSD and combat PTSD. I'm fully trained to provide services for Military Sexual Trauma (MST), case management, and discharge planning. I specialize in working with high-risk families and relationships, family dynamics, and child and family services. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, addiction, or navigating a life transition, I'm here to help. I also have extensive experience with 12-step programs, particularly for those who are Christian, and I offer support for military children and families dealing with PTSD. In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate and supportive environment where we work together to achieve your goals. I enjoy providing support to children and families, people in recovery, and those dealing with grief, bereavement, and life transitions. My work with military families has been particularly rewarding, helping them manage the unique challenges they face. Outside of my professional life, I find joy in helping others and am deeply committed to my faith, which often
