We all carry messages from our families, cultures, and the systems around us—about who we should be, how we should feel, and how we’re expected to move through the world. Sometimes, those messages are helpful; other times, they can leave us feeling disconnected. Therapy is a space where you can slow down, make sense of those messages, and reconnect with who you truly are. I work with bilingual (English and Spanish) individuals facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, identity questions, relationship challenges, and the stress that can come with navigating different cultures. My approach My work is grounded in a culturally responsive, relational, and interpersonal approach, integrating cognitive and mindfulness-based interventions. As a psychologist, I honor the unique knowledge, experiences, and wisdom each person brings into the therapeutic space. I view therapy as a space that is co-created —a space where safety, agency, authenticity, and compassion are centered. It’s a space where patterns of surviving and thriving can be explored, understood, and evolved through a culturally responsive lens. My focus I am deeply committed to supporting diverse individuals who are looking for a safe, understanding space to explore their unique experiences. My clinical background includes working with individuals who have intersecting identities, and I specialize in helping emerging adults, first-generation Latinx students, monolingual Spanish speakers, older adults (personas en la tercera edad), immigration impacted folks, and others facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, racial identity development, relationship challenges, and the stress of navigating multiple cultures. My communication style I take an active, reflective, and collaborative approach to therapy, where we work together to explore, understand, celebrate, and sometimes challenge the patterns that shape how you experience both struggle and growth.
