I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a Substance Use Disorder Professional who has been in the field of mental health and addiction since 2016. I received my master's from Grand Canyon University in 2021 and a post-master's certification in trauma in 2022. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in behavioral health also from GCU. I hold a NAADAC certification for clinical supervision and have been certified as a clinical supervisor for substance use professionals since 2021. My experience began with my own journey in sobriety. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including detox, inpatient, residential, and outpatient treatment centers, as well as an adolescent psychiatric unit. I also have experience with eating disorders. I work from a person-centered perspective while drawing from CBT, DBT, MI, and mindfulness.
