What should a new client know about working with you?

I utilize CBT, DBT, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), mindfulness, and other evidence-based techniques when working with individuals. Sessions involve teaching and practicing coping skills that can help make you feel more confident working through challenges outside of our sessions. My clients describe my style as direct, goal-focused, warm, humorous, and authentic. I strive to help clients experience impactful change and leave our sessions feeling grounded, hopeful, and confident.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Prior to their intake session, patients are emailed and asked to complete the needed intake paperwork. Typically, I see patients for 45-minute sessions once a week, with the option to be seen more frequently upon request. Sessions are conducted on a confidential, HIPAA-compliant video-based platform. Before the conclusion of a session, I offer therapeutic strategies and coping skills to promote progress. I will also be available to provide brief support to clients between sessions.
