Getting to know Vivian Levi
I'm a licensed psychotherapist dedicated to guiding individuals toward emotional wellness and personal growth. With 25 years of experience in the field and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Bowie State University, I specialize in helping clients and couples overcome obstacles, improve relationships, and cultivate resilience.
As a compassionate and empathetic therapist with multicultural expertise, I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
For individuals, I integrate evidence-based techniques such as EMDR and psychodynamic therapy to provide holistic and effective treatment. While my expertise is in trauma, I find that EMDR is a fast and effective technique that can also treat depression, anxiety, and addictions.
For couples, whether you are recovering from an affair, struggling with intimacy, or facing difficulties with communication and frequent arguments, I can help you learn to communicate, rebuild your relationship, and find the "Love You Want" using Imago techniques.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or life transitions, I am here to support you on your journey toward healing.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
My typical session starts with a grounding, breathing, or meditation exercise. I follow with a weekly check-in to include positive changes/successes. I use EMDR methods to reinforce successes. I then work on the mutually agreed therapeutic goals using talk therapy, EMDR, or Imago. I complete the session with a grounding exercise, takeaways, and sometimes a little homework
Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $200 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $190-255 for 60 minutes
- Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork

Insurance companies tend to determine the level and quality of care clients receive. Our philosophy is that therapists and clients should be the ones in charge of the treatment planning.
Based on that, we do not accept insurance. However, we are happy to provide you with a super bill, which simplifies the reimbursement process.
