Hello, I'm Vivian. As your clinician, my goal is to meet you where you are and assist you in harnessing the tools you need to reach your personal and professional goals. We will work collaboratively to determine your treatment objectives and make real-time adjustments to your treatment plan. During your initial visit, we will explore your intentions and identify your goals for therapy. My practice style is to use an integrative approach to help you understand that you are the greatest agent for change, progress, and growth. YOU are the answer and the solution to your inquiries. Allow me to embolden you in becoming the agent of change in your own life.
I have spent the past 7 years training in psychology and mental health, earning a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis.
I serve clients across the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I enjoy working with individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly—as well as couples, families, and groups on diverse issues such as life changes, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, psychosomatic issues, gender issues, LGBTQ+ support, substance abuse, eating disorders, personality disorders, disruptive behaviors, and more. I hold a certification in working with clients who have experienced trauma and have extensive crisis training.
Please feel encouraged to schedule your first appointment. Thank you for taking the first step in seeking treatment for yourself and your loved ones.

Provider has stated that she would provide additional reference material and I never received. Hard to get appointments and I feel like I have not made any progress.

The provider has consistently been late to scheduled appointments. When I’ve been late or unaware of an appointment, I haven’t been given the opportunity to reschedule or attend. Additionally, the app used for communication does not notify me of upcoming appointments—only cancellations. This has been incredibly discouraging, especially as someone who is actively working on my mental health. These repeated issues have made it harder for me to stay motivated and focused on my goals, and instead, have added to feelings of frustration and neglect in my care experience.
