It's also about having a genuine concern for your well-being and pain. My goal is to bring a blend of experience, expertise, clarity, concern, and action to our therapy sessions, aiming to maximize outcomes and provide genuine healing and wholeness to individuals, marriages, and families. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations, a minor in Psychology, and a Master of Arts degree in Community and Mental Health Counseling. I'm a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Professional (LSATP), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). With over 22 years of experience, I've provided counseling in various settings, including individual homes, foster care homes, juvenile detention centers, and outpatient clinics. I've also served as a program manager for community-based agencies and currently serve as the clinical manager of a Community Services Board, overseeing outpatient, case management, and psychiatry services. Additionally, I manage the State Opioid Response Program and assist with the Rural Community Opioid Response Program, both of which address barriers to treatment for substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder. Through my own life experiences, I've learned that the difference between individuals lies in how they handle what they face. This understanding drives my passion to help others uncover the underlying issues behind their concerns. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, couples therapy, and counseling women who struggle with self-image and identity issues. In our sessions, I strive to create a positive, growth-oriented environment that is both challenging and consoling.
