Hello! I'm Wendy, and I'm here to help you navigate the complexities of life. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2011 with a Master's Degree in Social Work, and I've been a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) for over a decade. My journey in the mental health profession has taken me through various hospital settings, where I've performed medical case management, worked with dialysis and transplant patients, and provided home health services. The intersection of medical and mental health is my specialty, and I have a particular passion for working with the geriatric population. Additionally, I've spent several years supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises, both inpatient and outpatient. In my practice, I focus on adults dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, medical issues, and stress. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help my clients view their challenges from a new perspective. By changing the way you think, you can feel empowered to make significant changes in your life. Building a trusting relationship is at the core of my approach.
