Our responses to life experiences can certainly leave us feeling choiceless, out of control, and stuck. There can be a sense of feeling lost and unsure of how to move forward. As a member of the military for over 20 years, I understand that feeling and the impacts of minor and major life changes. These changes shift our worldview, our relationships, and how we see ourselves. You may have tried multiple ways of coping, but traditional approaches haven't produced the change you want. With a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University, I am equipped to help you navigate these challenges and find a path toward meaningful growth and healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I see the therapeutic process as dynamic and multifaceted – meaning that I am dedicated to digging deep with you to discover growth and healing. I believe that the only way therapy works is if it is specific to the person making the change. My goals as your therapist are to be centered on your wants and needs while creative with my integrative approaches.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am willing to meet you where you are, understand the humanness that lies underneath, and ultimately encourage you and the shifts you want for yourself. If you feel as though you may benefit from working together, I offer a 10-15 minute consultation where we can discuss your concerns and your hopes for therapy. We can collaborate on what may work for you.
