William Koski, MA

Psychotherapist
MN
Hi there, I'm William! My name is Bill Koski, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I use my years of counseling experience to bring hope, help, and healing. Many of my clients have benefited from wisdom and insight as they progress toward their therapeutic goals. My approach I earned my Master's in Counseling from Adler Graduate School, where my graduate degree focused on Adlerian Psychology. As such, we explore events from early years as well as the presenting issues. I believe clients benefit from a holistic approach, taking inventory of health from mental, emotional, and even physical aspects. Also, as the client wishes, I incorporate spiritual practices into our sessions together. My focus I work effectively with clients of all ages, including individuals, couples, and families. Using my expertise as a Certified Brain Health Coach and a Certified Life Coach, I incorporate education and valuable tools into counseling sessions. In addition to relational issues, anxiety, and depression, my caseload has focused on anger management, brain injuries, disabilities, addiction recovery, trauma healing, and veteran issues. My communication style For lasting change to take place, it is important that we explore thoughts and feelings with honesty, based on a foundation of trust. Both truth and kindness are key to healing. Encouragement is vital, and confrontation is gentle. My journey to mental healthcare I enjoy helping people-always have. My parents were both counselors, so I learned how to face problems, get unstuck, and find solutions. It brings me joy when my clients experience a better life by going through this process! My goals for you I function as an experienced guide. Together, we explore where you are in life and where you want to be. I walk with you on your journey as you take each step along the way. We refocus on the goals when setbacks happen and celebrate the victories as they come.
