Yiny is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. She is trained in EMDR and hypnotherapy and offers specialized care for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her expertise includes substance abuse, acculturation issues, and trauma, providing evidence-based support for internalizing and externalizing behaviors, stress management, anxiety, depression, codependency, and PTSD.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Yiny is experienced in helping those whose lives have been touched by the destruction of addiction, trauma, and the struggles of mismanaged mental health. She approaches therapy with a holistic attitude considering all aspects of life when discussing remedies. She incorporates a variety of therapeutic modalities to ensure goal achievement.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
On their first visit, her clients can expect a comfortable transition from not knowing how to keep going to feeling hopeful knowing that things are about to change for the best. Yiny prides herself on her bilingual skills that allow her clients, from different backgrounds and cultures, to feel seen, heard and acknowledged. She accomplishes this by learning about their concerns and developing a plan of action with their input, so they develop ownership and empowerment toward their life goals.

Actually interacting with such an impressive practitioner was superb. Struggling through some of the worst electronic challenges I've experienced was awful. We literally would not have been able to get to the other side of that mess without extraordinary help from very capable and courteous office staff. Your organization needs to completely revamp your registration, etc. software and, if it can't be simplified and do a much better job of matching the capability of your age-challenged clients, you should find another vendor.
