1001 NW 62nd St, Bldg 3 Ste 309, Fort Lauderdale, FL
Hello, I'm Yolande Maxius, a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from Barry University and expertise in various therapy techniques, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). If you're struggling with mental health issues, I'm here to offer my assistance and support. Navigating through life's challenges can be overwhelming, and it's important to remember that seeking help is a sign of strength. As a trained professional, I provide a safe and compassionate space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. With EMDR, I utilize a specialized approach that can be highly effective in addressing past traumas, anxiety, phobias, and other mental health concerns. EMDR therapy helps to reprocess distressing memories and experiences, allowing for healing and positive change. By accessing the brain's natural ability to heal, we can work together to promote resilience and foster emotional well-being. Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or the aftermath of a traumatic event, I am here to support you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery. My goal is to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your emotions, gain insight, and develop effective coping strategies.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
