Jade Huggins, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CO
Jade is a queer and neurodivergent social worker with a passion for helping clients navigate the difficulties of modern life. Jade's primary focus is working with adults who are navigating recently realized or theorized neurodivergence, assisting with coping skills, emotional regulation, and processing trauma and mood disruption. Jade holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver and is trained in a number of therapeutic modalities, including Trauma Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Jade integrates elements of these approaches to create an individual-focused, relational therapy environment. Jade understands that society often tells queer and neurodivergent folks they are the problem, when the truth is that crafting identity and authenticity for ourselves can be the greatest source of joy and strength. For so many of us, it is a major accomplishment simply to be surviving—but you deserve to be thriving.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Jade works with adults and offers exclusively telehealth services.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

All new clients will participate in an intake session via a secure telehealth portal. This will include an introduction to the services Jade can provide as well as an exploration of clients history and what brings them to therapy at this time. This session typically lasts an hour and gives time to work together to develop goals and a treatment plan moving forward. A typical session after this looks similar in duration and location but will be individually tailored to your treatment goals developed in the initial session.

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $150 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $150 for 53 minutes
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork

More information on payments and coverage

Payments and copays are collected day of service via credit, debit, HSA or FSA card. Please be aware of your insurance coverage before scheduling a session if you are seeking to use insurance benefits, as if you do not have mental health coverage you will be responsible for the full session rate. If you have insurance with a company that I am not covered may be eligible for out of network insurance reimbursement and I am happy to help you determine your possible benefits and provide a superbill for reimbursement but you would still be responsible for payment on day of service.
