About Dr. Ashley Allee
Dr. Allee earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. She completed her clinical training at New York Vision Group, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Ezra Medical Center. Dr. Allee completed her residency in ocular disease with an emphasis co-managing retinal disease, glaucoma, anterior segment pathology, oculoplastics, pediatrics, and specialty contact lens fittings at Fromer Eye Centers in New York.
Dr. Allee has presented posters at American Academy of Optometry National Meeting and Heart of America Eye Care Congress and delivered a COPE-approved lecture.
Dr. Allee has gone on multiple humanitarian medical mission trips to Haiti and New Orleans. She was awarded the New Jersey Academy of Optometry Student Travel Fellowship Award for American Academy of Optometry and she was the Heart of America Eye Care Conference Poster Award Winner of 2020. Dr. Allee is an active member of New York State Optometric Association, Optometric Society of the City of New York, American Optometric Association, and American Academy of Optometry. She is on the Board of Directors of the Optometric Society of the City of New York. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of the State University of New York, College of Optometry.

I’ve been to a lot of optometrists in New York and this one is second to none. Professional and friendly staff, bright clean office, updated technology and equipment - all coupled with zero wait time and a very efficient appointment. All my needs were met, which is rarely the case with health care these days.

Dr. Alert was extremely nice and answered all of my questions! I really appreciated her knowledges on my eye disease and her recommending me to a specialist.

The office was very clean and the staff were very kind and friendly. The doctor was extremely thorough and really gave me great piece of mind with my eye health. She took her time and did a number of exams to rule things out. She was very nice and very professional. She forwarded the results to another doctor I am working with so they would be in the loop. These extra steps are critical.
The only issue was that Zocdoc and their calendar is not synced, so be sure to call prior to your appointment.
